KT 18 BA BE LAKE VILLAGE TREK (4 Days/3 Nights )

Day 1: Hanoi-Ba Be
Leave Hanoi in the morning for the 5-hour drive to Ba Be National Park via Thai Nguyen. Arrive at Ba Be National Park around lunchtime. In the afternoon take a two and a half-hour cruise on the peaceful waters of Ba Be Lake, encircled by forest-covered hillsides. Overnight at Ba Be Park Guesthouse. (L, D)
Day 2: Ba Be-Hin Dam-Ba be
A full day forest hike through primary forest to the remote H'mong village of Hin Dam. The going is tough through the forest but the views from the top of the top, the pristine forest flora, medicinal plants and the opportunity to visit a remote hill tribe settlement make it a rewarding and memorable experience. Total walking time of around 6 hours. Return to park guesthouse for overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Ba Be-Pac Ngoi
Leave the park guesthouse with an overnight bag and take a boat across the lake to the Tay fishing village of Coc Toc. After visiting the village with its fishermen and local handicrafts follow an easy trail through gardens and orchards to Bo Lu village. Leaving Bo Lu the trail leads throug h dense forest with trees up to 2,000 years old. After an
hour arrive at the picturesque village of Pac Ngoi nestled between the forest and limestone cliffs at the mouth of the Cho Leng River. Lunch is in a traditional village stilt house. In the afternoon explore the village, take a ride in a dugout canoe, swim in the lake or hire a bicycle and cycle along the riverside trail. Dinner and overnight at thevillage stilt house. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Pac Ngoi-Ba Be-Hanoi
After breakfast return head back to the Park Head quarters by motorboat before driving back to Hanoi. (B,L)

KT 18-B : BA BE LAKE
(3 days/2 nights) Daily departure

Day 1: Hanoi - Ba Be Lake
AM.: Depart for BaBe Lake, an mountain area, which is nearly 250 km far from Hanoi. Arrive on afternoon. Overnight in Hotel BaBe.

Day 2: Ba Be Lake
AM: Visit BaBe area : Nang river, grotto Puong, waterfall DauDang. Visit ethnic village, namely PacNgoi, where visitors can get to know about Tay People. Enjoy daily meals of ethnic minorities. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 3: Ba Be - Hanoi :
7h30 Back to Hanoi. More stops on the way, visit more minority village. Stop in ThaiNguyen for visiting the Vietnam Minority People Museum. Arrive Hanoi at 17h00. End tour.
